Do you think men put on a front about how much they really get hurt by women in relationships?

Oh yes, they exaggerate anything as concerns pain to them...don't listen to it...they are just seeking attention of the wrong sort.

i think so...men just like to appear as if nothing fazes them, and supposedly they move on from one girl to the next to help them overcome emotional ties, but that's no way to deal with it...i think guys are all about maintaining that super macho front about ego and to a certain point defending their "honor" or as the italians say "omerta" ...so if they come across as heartbroken by some girl, it makes them look sappy...i know this coz my ex's have taught me those revelations-men can't be on their own once they have a break up especially if they have been dumped...they need to be at the next bar scene, the next girl scene, whatever...coz that's their defense mechanism...but come on, if you even raised a pet for a few weeks, you'd get attached so if it was time to let go of fido, you know your heart would crush a little, now imagine another human being that you've cuddled with, spent hours talking to, walking around, bla bla bla...so wouldn't that be beyond just a little nagging pain in your heart, your mind? i would think so and i think most guys will deny it, the ones that are sure of their expressive feminine side will agree with me!

I don't think it's so much a front as much as it's society making men repress their feelings. Men who show grief or heartache are seen as weak or soft, and women look for a "strong" man. But deep down, yes, we do have feelings, and they can be stomped on.

Don't we all (including you and me) wear some kind of a mask for protection? What man (or woman) wants to let the whole world know just how vulnerable they've allowed themselves to be?

For about a week ... and then they go out with their buddies and find a new conquest. This may last for a month or so then they get serious about finding another relationship!!!
