I feel that pot should be legal. The government could put taxes on it and at the same time reduce the jail population. Further more I believe that you can still handle jobs on pot unlike crack or heroin.

As for the high paying jobs, they should have requirements or guidelines.

If pot was legal and you were allowed to grow for personal use, you wouldn't meet the dealers whose primary objective is to make money and therefore don't give a damn what they sell you as long as you keep coming back - hence it's better for them if you are any kind of addict. The politicians is so paranoid about pot we don't even use hemp, a product you can even make car parts out of and run cars on - how stupid!

LEGALIZE IT!

About a 3 years ago, Toronto, Canada had legalized pot and because of Bush we had to make it illegal due to the fact that US kids were coming over to Canada and smoking.

ABSOLUTELY Pot should be legal.

The prohibition of pot is the primary reason why the "just say no" program doesn't work. Kids see the hypocracy of including pot as a "dangerous" drug, and they presume the other drugs are equally "dangerous", so they try them, too.

yes, it needs to be legal. it helps lots of people with pain, including me. the government could tax it and pay off the national debt. if it was legal then orginized crime would not be making money off of it.

Should be legal and taxed like tobacco and alcohol. I believe all drugs should be handled like the Netherlands.
