1. You already are on yahoo.
2. on your view toolbar on the top of any page, it will show you the toolbars that you have available.
3. Click on to view the yahoo toolbar
4. yahoo desktop search is part of the Yahoo toolbar.

Ok Now you see the bar always on your computer down below \/.
Right click it and goto toolbars and click address. Now you should have a little box on that bar that has the word "Address" next to it. If you just see the word only. right click and click the Lock the taskbar (IF IT IS CHECKED!). Now you see a line next to the word. click and drap that line till the box is big enough for you. Now if you want to search just type in what you want to search.
