Write her a long letter and tell her how much you love her and why .
Put it in a nice envelope , put a nice ribbon around it .
Being a Mom with one daughter , that for me would be the most beautiful gift in the world .
No expensive gift , no matter what it would be , could replace the gift of such a letter

How about a homemade coupon book from YOU, offering all sorts of things from washing the car, to doing the dishes, to delivering a cake a month for a whole year....
ANY THING you can think up that she would like some help with , put in this coupon book. MOMS and GRANDMAS love this help and the time spent with their children / grandchildren !

A day at a spar, that the two of you can go, and relax, it is so much fun, then go for lunch or dinner, and write her a letter, and read it to her over the dinner table, Tell her how much it means to have her for a mom, That you would not be the type of person, if it was not for her, That God, put us together, because he knew that we would be the perfect match! I just want to Thank You, and I love you, and then give her a beautiful pin. one that she could treasure for the rest of her life!!

A picture of the two of you. Put an inscription or caption on it that compliments how great she is.
I once gave my mom a card with the following message, she loved it so much she framed it:
"They say all women eventually turn into their mothers - good thing you're so awesome."

One year I took all my parents photographs and put them in photo albums. It was very time consuming, but they really liked it. I also gave my mom a box of labels and told her to go through the albums and label the pictures for me (the names of the people in the picture or what was happening in the picture). Now that my mother is dead, it means so much more to me.
