Someone I know ate a cricket the other day, and I'm just curious if anyone else has eaten crickets, and what they taste like.

I was in the Marine Corps. They're tasteless except for being a little bitter.

Ech ... if I were you ... I'd ask what do crickets eat? I'd be more concerned about their intake and what their body is made from rather than what they taste like. I have a few friends that have gone to some sort of insect exhibit and brought some 'special' candy back for me. No waaaay.

Everyone's different though, you never know. I'm not THAT open minded. lol.
