Walking on an inclined treadmill is great for working quads, glutes, calves and your core if you are mindful to not hold on to the rails. Keep your arms pumping while you walk to get the most out of the exercise. Muscle wieghs more than fat so as you burn fat and gain muscle your thighs will be smaller and more shapely. I often hear women say they are afraid they will get big if they lift wieghts. I think women tell themselves this as an excuse why they are not working out. They say, "Oh I don't want to lift weights, I build muscle fast and get too big." They say this and then stay plump and wonder why. Plus the are not doing their bones any favors. Woman especially need to do wieght and resistance training to keep osteroperosis at bay at they age. If you do the treadmill on a regular basis you will burn fat and gain muscle and your thighs will NOT get bigger. This will not happen unless you start to lift very heavy wieghts and do lots of reps on a regular basis. Trust me, the women who have BIG muscles don't "accidentaly" get that way. They hit the gym hard every day for years. If you do basic cardio and wieght resistant training you will slim down firm up and will not look like a she-hulk. One thing that will make your thighs get bigger is NOT doing cardio. As you age your metabolisms slows every year. If you keep same cario or lack there of you will gain 10lbs every year and those thighs will get bigger and bigger.

Increasing the incline on a treadmill just increases the resistance of your workout. Walking on a treadmill will not make your normal sized thighs any larger. Treadmills usually work the legs and cardio, maybe you should try jogging or running on the treadmill because working large muscle groups; like the legs can speed weight loss and increase cardiovascular fitness.

If you are looking to lose your mass in your thighs incline on a treadmill will definitly contribute. You need to pick up the pace to a run if you are trying to lose some excess fat though. The incline works your quads, shins calfs as well as your glutes.

For sandwich-lovers, use spinach or swiss chard leaves as opposed to a wrap, skip the piece of cheese, and load high on the veggies.

In the mood for a hot meal? Make a huge pot of veggie bean soups, divide into two-cup containers, and store inside the freezer. Before bed, place a container inside the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door in the morning.
