...to help you here are my suggetions and thought please see if they help you answer the question: (please comment)

Since God created time there was no time for there to be father to God. There was no time for God to have a father so therefore in the absence of time there can be no father to Him. God 's Son who is Jesus Christ is a manifestation of God Himself. Since all things where and will be created by God, God created a manifestation of Himself in the Human form. The Holy Spirit is God in Spirit. That is why you can only worship Him in spirit and in truth. Jesus Christ said that He (Jesus) is The Way, The Truth and The Life. We are able to communicate with God through prayer as result of His Holy Spirit. Since in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God (or a part of God), The Word was God. When Jesus said that in the house His Father which art in Heaven has many, many mansions and if it were not so He would have told us so; he was referring to God the Father.

By Jesus saying that if it were not so He would have told us so, He was expressing Truth. Since God is Truth, every thing that he does must be in accordance of The Truth which He is. Jesus is The Way because no man can go to The Father without going through Him. Why? Because God the Father Manifested Himself so that His Human manifestation (which is Jesus Christ) would be able to pour out his Holy Spirit as a means of mass communication with God and also to receive salvation. Jesus that He (Jesus) is The Life because He as God Holds the Keys of Life and Death. He as God the Father created Life and can take it away at an instant. This answers the question of why God has no Father (He's the Beginning), why Jesus is God and how he came to be (He's a manifestation), the purpose of The Holy Spirit (Means of communication, Comforter), Why Jesus had to die (Salvation and outpour of The Holy Spirit), The answers to the Trinity or Triune nature of God (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit)

Even if you think God had a dad, and that God had a dad, and so on and so on...logically it follows that there would have to be a supreme, awesome, all knowing, eternally existing God that lives outside of time, at the beginning, who started it all! You are working on a presumption that God has a creator.

The answer to your question? God, Jesus Christ's father is THAT ever existing, awesome, all knowing God and father of all creation.

Everything which has a beginning has a cause. The universe has a beginning. Therefore the universe has a cause.

The universe requires a cause because it had a beginning, as will be shown below. God, unlike the universe, had no beginning , so doesn’t need a cause. In addition, Einstein’s general relativity, which has much experimental support, shows that time is linked to matter and space. So time itself would have begun along with matter and space. Since God, by definition, is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created, so has no beginning in time—God is ‘the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity’ (Is. 57:15). Therefore He doesn’t have a cause.

to paraphrase a Pauline epistle

when I was a child, I thought as a child...
but now that I have grown, I have put away the things of a child...

Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, Valentine's Cupid....
remember....the only difference between Zeus and Jesus is that most people don't believe in Zeus anymore....
today's religion becomes tomorrow's myth

God does not have a "father" as you might put it. there was nothing before him. he has always been there. we as humans think of begining and end but He isn't these things. it's just hard for us to comprehend his power as we are so low ourselves. he can't be categorized or organized or anything humans like to do to make sense of something beyond or understanding. talk to your pastor, he's probably better at this than I.
