Wedding's usually have the Bride & Groom's personal preference as to where and what kind of food, and what kind of flower's, decoration's ect... I've been to a Tropical Wedding...very nice, attire was formal, but the food and decor reflected their theme. Also been to a Civil War theme, all were dressed to reflect the era. You could chose a theme, go with it in decoration's, bridesmaids color's, food and also could extend the theme to include your quest's to dress accordingly. Personally I would have few attendents, you only need 2 wittnesses and our family is totally against having little one's as they take away from the Bride's Special Day (unless they have children...should include them).
Good luck and Best Wishes, Live well, laugh often, and love much!

Think about a place that you and you so to be would love to go. or something that you both have wanted to do but have not been able. Then take one thing from that . And you make that you theme. and you don't tell anyone why it's that way . That way only you too will know. And that make it even better . I hope everything workout .

Last year my aunt had a Hawaiian wedding in her backyard with a little tiki hut for the bar and sand on the ground and flowers and homemade dresses for the bride's maids. Everything had a Hawaiian theme to it.

If I had tons of money I would have a travel theme. Where all the tables reflected places that my fiance and I had visited. With different food stations featuring different ethnic foods from the various locales.

I had a pirate wedding... Complete with period music, walking under crossed swords, a pirate minister, and a blackpowder cannon/flintlock salute. Lots of rum afterwards, of course. It was great!

I want my wedding reception to be a masked ball. I'm not sure about the wedding though. I think i'll keep that traditional.

I want to have my wedding on a small beach in northern california. I don't want it to be all tropic-y, more of a rustic and romantic elegance, if that makes sense.

it really depends on what time of year you are having your wedding. if ppl are going to ask questions like this please put in the month of the wedding you want or you will get blank answers to the question and never get the full answer to the question you lost points to ask.
