My son is 13, yes this is the beginning. Right now I bet he has hair growing in places he never had. By time he is twelve, his voice starts to crack. Yes. I've just been going through this. My sons voice hasn't completely changed yet. It's still crackling. But his moods are more stable.

He sounds a bit young as boys don't usually start to develop til about 14 or 15 but peer pressure starts real early!

They practice being a teenager real early now so could just be attitude and trying to find his personality.

Try not 2 stress too much its normal 4 kids 2 assert themselves as they know alot these days and can be under alot of pressure from friends, at home or at school.

Don't worry a reasonable adult turns out about 21 years old! lol

I hope you will encourage you son to masturbate and let him have the privacy to do so. Masturbation is normal and okay and important for the reproductive system and his sexual developement. but also teach him that it is sex and like all sex should be personal and private, also teach him how to protect his privacey and sexuality from predators and older boys and girls. It is a hard world out there. Good Luck.
