Africanized honey bee ("killer bee") stings are no more dangerous than those of normal honey bees. The difference is that Africanized honey bees are much more aggressive and prone to swarm.

It's not the venom that kills you. It's the hundreds upon hundreds of stings.

Same as any other bee venom but because of their behaviour there is just so much more of it. If you get attacked by regular bees you may get stung 15 times in comparison to killer bees where the stings can number into the thousands.
