I do the same thing. I have thoughts that resemble conversations with other people and I re-experience things I have said out loud to other people, in my head. It worries me. On the "six feet under" show, George was seen to be talking to himself uncontrollably and was diagnosed with a depressive psychosis. He is shown to be reliving childhood trauma he suffered at the hands of his depressed mother.

I've done that many times when I was mad about something. It helps if your ever mad at someone because you've already thought out your whole conversation, and everything you want to say.
It's normal.
My brother. He talks to himself, and has long talks and everything. Ever since he was young. He acts like nobody can hear him. I always wondered if he had an imaginary friend.
Well he has other things going on though.
So if I ever talked to myself I do it really quiet because I think of him, but I have. hehe!

hello.... Lots of us have talked to ourselves from time to time. I wish I knew whether or not you exhibit any other kinds of behaviors which may be considered "abnormal" I think the fact that you recognize that you are talking to yourself means that you are probably o.k. If, on the other hand, you wind up having difficulties having conversations with other people, or allow any other aspects of your life to be interupted because of it,. maybe you should talk to someone about it...a friend,a parent.....they may have noticed something a little different and would be able to help you to figure it out. Good luck.

I wouldn't think you are crazy but what you are doing is a really bad habit that is gonna be bad if you do it in public. Try to retrain yourself in not mouthing or saying anything unless you have someone to talk to. Do you think maybe you need to connect with people more than you do? Good luck to you!

None of the above. Just Normal. Sound like a teen. It's hell the peer pressure teens allow themselves to be subjected to.
Just know you are in the hallway. Between a child and an adult.
It get's better.

your normal people talk to themselves & you are just sorting thru your emotions & feelings trying to sort things out-better then keeping it all bottled up iside of you- basically your just venting which is healthy in a way!!
