I've had lots of odd things happen in my office, and my boss doesn't believe me because they only seem to happen when I am alone. Does anyone else believe in ghosts?

more info:

I work in a prison that was built in the 30's. The basement downstairs below me used to be "the hole" where they would put the women prisoners. I have had my typewriter turn itself on, papers move on their own when no one was in here, and my shoulder tapped with no one behind me.

They happen to you because you are 'sensitive' to feeling them. Your boss isn't psychically sensitive like you. It's not the dead you need to worry about! Yes, it CAN be annoying but unless you start feeling an 'energy drain' ...for lack of better words... I wouldn't worry about it much. When something happens just tell the ghost to stop it, that it doesn't belong on this Earthly Plane anymore and to Cross Over by going to the White Light. If that doesn't work to make you feel better I have my settings in here set so that you can "email" me and I'll tell you more. There's not enough room here.

Ghosts are real; nevermind those that can not see them.

If you're being haunted and want to get the ghosts to leave you alone, a discreet way of securing the room is to put salt in all the corners of the room. Try it!

Blessed be.

babe if it was haunted then most if not all people would see anything paranormal happening
what i would suggest is that your own energy is affecting things around you .. which is very common and accounts for most " polterguist " activity

machines breaking or going mad ?
lights flickering ?
papers seemingly flying ?
anything like this ?
yup could be your own energy
are you a little stressed just now ... going through some emotional changes etc ?
this is most likely the cause and it will settle down dont worry xx

1990 I bled to death, and no one saw ME standing there watching...
I came back though.

So sure, ghosts are real.
Maybe whoever it is doesn't know they are dead yet?

You can ask them to leave you alone in Christ's name and they have too..... whenever you get an uneasy feeling call on Christ outloud.

Nothing is more powerful than God.... so don't allow your fears to spook you into reacting and hurting yourself.

God is everywhere & with you.

You could remind them that they are dead and go to the light..... I didn't know I was dead at first, I just wondered why no one would listen to me?

Ghosts are real..... but God is almighty.

Acutally the ONLY thing that is REAL is GOD.

Think happy thoughts.
Imagine yourself surrounded by white light, like an invisible love sheild.

Blessings to you!

In Islam those creations that you are describing are called jinns. God says in the Quran that He created man and jinn so that we worship Him alone.

Usually jinns will live in abondoned or dirty places i.e toilets, bathrooms..etc. I think you need to get somebody to chase them out. For us Muslims usually Imam from the Mosque can chase them by reciting verses from the Quran.

Please see the link below for further info on jinns.

Hey, I felt a brush of warm air, breath-warm, on my face in this cold computer room in the middle of winter...who can say? Or let alone every really explain.

Also heard a cat we lost more then once, hear the spring door bumper he used to play with make that funny "sproing" noise...that happened many times, with someone close enough to that door to hear, but never close enough to see it (or cause it).

I believe it's a demon. You have to cleanse the office where you work. There are prayers to removed demons from your home or office or wherever. Basically pray to God the Father, acknowledge that he is the creator of the heavens and the earth, the one God. The sins of those whoever occupied the room resulted in the demon(s) being there, then tell the demon(s) to leave and never return from your office room IN THE NAME OF JESUS. Ask God to cover your room with peace, the blood and even angels. It does work. faith. We are dealing with a spiritual battle. Peace out.

I believe you. There are things you can do to make spirits leave. One of them is to just tell them to go away.
Call The Gypsy Woman in Yuma (928-783-7777) and she'll give you instructions. She can also give you the number of some people who can help.
Good luck!

There's a huge jump in "hauntings" when the subject is alone. Our natural instincts kick into overdrve and our senses (especially hearing) perk up, looking for predators. Often normal sounds (and events) get kicked up into the "haunting" range when no one's around.
