No that's not fair. They should stay in any kind of school to get their education.

Pregnant teens should attend classes in a location away from the regular schools, Catholic or public, so the rest of the students don't get the notion that the administration is condoning their actions and so they don't have to put up with nasty students calling them names. Since a boy that has fathered a child does not have a visible sign that he has done that, it would be a lot harder to argue for separation. The other answerer has a good idea, that the unwed father should have to attend a class that teaches him about his responsibility towards his child.

I have attended catholic schools all my life and in high school there were a few girls who had children durning the school year. They were given home schooling and came in for tests. I do feel that they should be taken as individual cases. If they are a striaght A student they should be able to work a deal out. I think by excluding them from school is only pushing them away. Why not give them the oppertunity to show that they can succed as a student and now a mother.
As far as the fathers I think they should attend classes in regards to becoming a father but they shouldnt be kicked out either. Yes its concidered a sin to have a child out of wedlock but I dont think kicking them out of school will help.

If I was in charge, I would want to kick them out because it can be very distracting for the other students. Also, it does not present a good image for the school. Parents don't want to send their kids to schools where the other kids are pregnant. (I'm not saying that's right; that's just how it is)
If it's in the rules, the child should have to follow the rule. Parents sign forms when their child enrolls at private schools, and usually this is part of the form they sign. If they disagree with this standard, they should not enroll their child at this school.

If the couple is dating then yeah they should both be kicked out. If you don't know who the father is then it is hard to kick him out as well. Short of them being married yeah they both need kicked out. It is a private school and they should have the people there following a morality thing. You don't have to agree with their religion, but you should follow their morals to certain degrees.

No. If the Catholic school even considers themselves Christian, it's very impolite and hateful to kick a kid out because they are pregnant. Would Jesus kick her out? NO! Jesus supped with the sinners and talked to them because they needed it most. To kick a girl out of school for being pregnant is downright dirty, even if it is against school policy for pregnant students to be present it is still rude to do so.

Catholic schools have extremely high standards and codes of conduct. A child out of wedlock is a situation, in my opinion, a catholic school wants to avoid. The moral standards and religious practices is difficult enough to follow and pregnant teens attending a Catholic school deters the status of the school and moral standards. If devout Catholics are against birth control, then I believe they would be against premartial sex resulting in a child out of wedlock.

I don't think they should be kicked out. Everyone sins, no matter how hard they try not to. If someone was kicked out because they had premarital sex then shouldn't they kick out everyone who's shared answers on a test, cussed, lied or put themselves before others. Sin is sin and we all screw up. And shouldn't they be taught forgiveness as well? How can they learn to forgive unless they are first forgiven themselves?

If you attend a cahtolic school, you know they have very strict rules. Having sex and or geting pregnant outside of marriage is one of them, so you can bet that they can and will kick you and your boyfirend out for breaking two very clear rules. I bet it's even in the contract that you sign to attend.

pregnant teens need to stay in school. They'll need the education to get a job and support their child.
