God, this sounds all too familiar, but trust me when I say-- nothing cures the heart like another man. He may always be that special someone. I will bet you any amount of money that if you let him go for a few months- then begin speaking to him after that period- that you will become best friends, and then you will know for sure if being with him is right for you. When it comes to love, you can rarely make the right decisions when we're actually in the situation.

Concentrate...you must regain your composure. Getting yourself into a funk does not help matters. The physical distance between you is too powerful to give you the satisfaction you desire. He is obviously getting a life there. You need to do the same. The un-due stress will ruin your health.
Just say in your next letter or phone conversation how you feel and let his reactions be your guide.
Any way you look at it...you need to adjust and face reality.

Love? What to do about it? I have the same issue, and all I can say is it's not going to get easier. Becasue the more you go on with life the more things you start to give up hoping you could spend that time talking with him or hanging out. It's going to get harder. So now you have to make a choice,
Let him go or Make what you have now work.

You are concentrating too much on this boy. Concentrate on something that makes you happy. Never give too much of yourself that you feel that bad. Look out for yourself. You are number 1. That way of thinkiing will save you a lot of heartache.

Becoming pen pals is a great way to make additional personal contact. My ex lived in Germany and we would send each other hand written letters, gifts, pictures, artwork, you name it... It was fun to get something that I knew he had touched and put effort in to.

Well if you really like him then just you make the effort and call him if he is just not willing to make a long-distance relationship work maybe it's not worth it you know?
