So really how often do two people dating see each other. It seems like it is about once a week and even at that there are other things in her life going on that sometimes make it hard for us to plan things at times. Granted I realize things start out slow but what is too slow and what is too fast? Its tough to gauge sometimes and I don't know if it is just because I am horrible at dating and we are only a month into this thing. One other thing though, is we talk almost every night on the phone so that must put me above the friend category with relationship pending...any thoughts

everynight on the phone might make up some of the times when you guys can`t see eachother. and she might just be really busy. just go slowly if you love her then you guys will find a way to be together. good luck =]

It really does depend upon the woman and what she has going on in her life. If she is very busy... then a date once a week and an almost nightly phone call is excellent. If she isn't that busy (except, perhaps with other social events) then it might be that she's trying to keep her options opened... but this doesn't sound like the case. I would say that you are, yes, more than likely, above the friend category.
Have you kissed yet? If not... KISS HER! If yes... then take it as slow as she wants... be patient... but also continue to pursue her and be confident! Flowers are always nice too! Have them delivered to her with a card saying something genuine and romantic like... "Do you know how beautiful you are?"... "Can't get your sexy voice off of my mind! Loved talking to you last night." etc. Be creative and spontaneous... to keep things moving forward.... and out of the friends category.

Sure this girl should try seeing way more. When I met my BF we talked every day and night for like a year and some change. But it has slowed down some. However, we were making it a point see eachother every weekend because we are miles from eachother. Now if we were alot more locally located we would see eachother everyday. But this is us, and everyones pace is different. Afterall its only been a month. Let her know your totally intersted and make plans. Tell her that you made plans for the both of you to go to x place at x time and she should make the time for you if she is truly interested.

once a week sounds about average if you're in the "dating" category. Maybe twice a week is fine too.
More than that would be appropriate for boyfriend/girlfriend stage.
Talking on the phone a lot is a good sign. Don't worry, once you're past the third date and she's talking to you daily on the phone, she probably likes you and you're not as bad at dating as you think. =)

Every night phone conversations... sounds like relationship potential to me. At least you all know that you can communicate. Take your time getting to know her. Once or twice a week seems like a good amount of time to see one another at first. Once things get serious you all can commit more time to one another and intertwine your activities. well i see my boyfriend everyday, and i can't even last a day without hearing his voice or seeing his face....i would say practically 5 times a week...depends on how the relationship is going..
