I can understand someone being brought up as a catholic and sticking with it but I cant understand someone converting to it. It is after all one of the most spiritually, morally and financially corrupt organisation that has ever existed.

I am a catholic, and no i'm not going to watch the programme. I already know that Satan has infiltrated the catholic church as with probably all religions. So no, there is no need for me to watch it. I still believe the true catholic faith is the one to follow though as it was set up by Jesus' own apostles, it's just a case of finding a genuinely good priest which I believe is rare these days unfortunately. Satan is decieving the whole world, yet he still hasn't given us a theory where the particles or whatever came from that caused the 'Big Bang' Haha, all these 'Intellectuals' think they know best, when they haven't got a clue. God created the Universe, Men created religion.

Many Catholics will watch with interest. We have been aware of the internal scandal of disguising paedophilia for many years now. We make no attempt to justify it. However the actions of a minority of clergy will not taint our fundamental belief in the central tenets of our faith. Priests and even popes are human. They fail in their judgement from time to time.
And before anyone mentions papal infallibility..this relates purely to doctrinal matters and is a process which has been employed on a minute number of occasions since its inception. It does not mean and never has meant that a pope cannot make a mistake !!!

Whilst I'm sure the programme will be upsetting in revealing the terrible mistakes and cover ups within the Catholic church, I can't help but feel that the BBC has an agenda that is anti American, anti Jew and anti Catholic.

Good question you have asked. The roman catholic church has been covering up for years, and hiding the truth about a great many things, maybe they should start at the begining, so it will be interesting to see,

Criminals and sexual deviants are always going to prey on the weak. I imagine most Catholics would deem such a program as an insult against themselves and avoid watching it; what you don't know can't hurt you.

That should be interesting. He will probably try to deny that it was as widespread as it was. I wonder if I get that on my cable. There is a BBC news channel. Not the same I bet.
