Go to equifax(easiest website to navigate). They have a section called "dispute." You can dispute anything on your credit report and list any reason. The burden of proof is always on the company. If they can't prove it within a month, it will be erased.
TIP: I have even had things erased that I was responsible for, because companies could usually care less about proving something about someone who put in a dispute. Dispute everything you don't like(you'll have perfect credit just like me)!
ALSO: Make sure that when you are on the equifax website, you also file a "fraud alert" just incase someone is using your identitiy. It lasts 3 months and is great because everytime someone tries to apply for a credit card in your name, the company is required to call you on your phone # to verify that it is really you. If it is not, then the scammers are caught red handed. You can even extend your fraud alert for 3 years I believe.
good luck!

Be sure that you are going by reports from each bureau and not using a 3in1 report. (3in1's are not always accurate)

If you have any baddies on your reports, opt out first and then update your personal information on your reports before you begin to dispute anything.

Then, if you have accounts that are not truly yours, write the bureaus and tell them you have never had an account with that company.
