It depends on how the date went. If you think you can go on another with them, and you REALLY REALLY like them, and there was a lot of a connection, then an open mouthed, all just depends on how comfortable you are with them.
That can be determined with if you're about to kiss, and you feel comfortable kissing them open mouthed and not get rejected.
If you like them a lot, and maybe you might just go on another date with them and you're just starting to warm up to them, there was a little bit of a connection, and all, THEN I suggest closed mouthed. :]

Theres no rule to whether you kiss open mouthed or closed. As long it is a special kiss and that you feel comfortable with the person. Here are my top Three tips for that good kiss.
1. Act natural. It's not a competition to see who can hold their breath the longest. so breathe in between.
2. Bad breath is no go zone so keep mints handy
3. Too much tongue is bad

Never an open.....just a short quick kiss either on the cheek or the lips but the cheek is better.
