Christians believe Jesus Christ is the only true Messiah or Savior from sin. Most Jews rejected Jesus Christ as the true Messiah and are still looking for Him to arrive on this earth. Maybe this will help.
The true Messiah is the Lord Jesus Christ!

The true Messiah is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Jews rejected Him the first time He was here. He is now in heaven waiting until the Heavenly Father tells Him when to come back to earth. Then the Jews will accept Him as their true Messiah. However, sadly, there will be a false Messiah called the Antichrist who will appear on earth before the Lord Jesus Christ comes back as the true Messiah.
Do you know Jesus Christ as your true Lord and Savior from sin? If not, why not.
The Holy Bible in Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please him (God); for he that cometh to God must believe (have faith) that he (God) is, and that he (God) is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (God).” Parentheses mine!
The only way you can be saved from your sins and go to heaven when you die is to, by faith, acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the only true and living Lord God (Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus {that Jesus is Lord} and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believed unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”) and the blood Jesus Christ shed for you at Calvary is the only thing that can forgive, remove and cleanse you from all you sins. You must, by faith, acknowledge you are a sinner (Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” and Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”) needing forgiveness of all your sins and turn from all your sins to live for Jesus Christ the rest of your life. You must, by faith, ask Jesus Christ to forgive all your sins and invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life to live there forever. (John l:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to come sons {children} of God, even to them that believe on his name.”) You must, by faith, give your heart and life to Jesus Christ to live for Him day by day. You must then, by faith, seek to please Him, love, honor and obey Him as best you know how. All of this is what is meant when the Lord Jesus Christ said: “Jesus answered, and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto, Except a man be born again , he cannot see the kingdom of God (go to heaven).” You were born physically into your earthly family. To go to heaven you must be born again spiritually into your heavenly family, God's spiritual family. Salvation is a free gift. You cannot work for it. You cannot be good enough to earn it. You must, by faith, receive it as a free gift. (“8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.”) Ephesians 2:8-9. You must learn to read The Holy Bible to learn how to live for Him. You should also seek out fellow believers in a Bible teaching church. If you never have, I pray you will do all this today without delay. YOU CAN TALK TO JESUS CHRIST JUST LIKE YOU WERE TALKING TO ANYONE ELSE. HE IS A PERSON JUST LIKE YOU, EXCEPT, OF COURSE, HE IS HOLY AND SINLESS.

Interesting question!

Most people would say that Christianity is the "new" version of Judaism... but that's a bit simplistic.

It would be too lengthy to try and list all the differences here, so I'll keep it short.

Jews don't believe that Christ was the messiah. Christians do. Jews follow the rules of the Old Testament, while Christians include (and in fact seem to favor) the New Testament.

These are just two of the many differences between the two... my suggestion is to find and seek council from a learned scholar with a background in studies of each of the two religions.

They are pretty much as different as day and night. Both have a basis in the Old Testament but have gone different directions. Judaism rejects the deity of Christ which is essential in Christian views. Judaism is based on works, which Christianity rejects, Judaism rejects the trinity. The basis of Judaism was the old testament, but is really now the Talmud. They really are not the same. If a Jew became a Christian they really would have to give up Judaism.

Judaism is the Old Testament and Christianity is the New Testament. Christianity though makes up the whole Bible, which Christians are to follow the whole Bible.

Most Jews reject Jesus therefore, they follow the Old Testament and the old laws of Moses. They are still living in OT times, while we have moved forward in the New Testament times.

The Jews still practice old traditions and stuff in the OT. The Jews are waiting for the first coming of the Messiah while Christians are waiting for the second coming of the Messiah. Jesus first coming is for the suffering and shedding blood of the slain Lamb, the second coming is for judgement upon mankind and the world.

Judaism is an invention of Christianity and Christianity was invented by a pagan Roman Emperor.

Both are recent inventions, like less than 2000 years old.

The Children of Israel laugh at Christians who call them Jews only to worship them.

Christians are really Crosstians who worship the Cross of Jesus The Two Thieves Crucified.

AMEN!

Judaism uses the Old Testament and Moses as its prophet while Christianity uses the New Testament and Jesus as its prophet.

Judaism is approximately repairing relationships and approximately residing including one yet another in peace -- here on earth. Christianity is approximately "salvation" and an eternal existence of bliss unique to Christians mutually as condemning non-believers to a newly-created place of eternal torment. .

Christians believe in Jesus, and that he was the Messiah. Jews believe the Messiah haven't come yet. There are many more differences though.
