I knew that police corruption was bad, but it's even worse than I thought.

When police break the law it is widely publicized because it is a rare and uncommon event. If it happened all the time it wouldn't make the news. Does every little theft and parking ticket make the evening news? No, because its way too common. Only uncommon events make the news.
What should be done to stop the very few police who break the law? Exactly the same thing that happen es to any private citizen who breaks the law. No more, and definitely no less.

The camera's do more lying than the cops...btw. Stop allowing the media to spoon feed you biased stories. Bad cops are few. And did you realize that there is a new trend where people are driving around with camera's in their cars trying to get pulled over. Then they act like jackasses to try and get the officers to do something wrong so they can get a lawsuit out it. Why hasn't that made the news?

ok, first of all, the first site that you posted about the pedophile cop, has NOTHING to do with cops. That's a detention officer, WAY different from a cop!! They only have to have a HS diploma and be 19 years old. and they only book criminals in, and feed the inmates food.
Do you realize how many cops we have in this nation?? I think you should find something better to do. Ya, there are some sick people out there and every once in a while they get caught.
I don't think you should be thinking that cops do this everywhere. It really doesn't happen as often as you think.

VERY EASY to complain about the minute level of police deriliction of duty, VERY DIFFICULT to sleep at night if you handcuff the policemen from doing their jobs, instead of the criminals.
If you don't like cops, chances are you're doing something that makes them not like you (i.e. breaking the law or hanging out with those who do).
