for us each member of the wedding party will pay for their own tux
we are going to find out sizes and provide the hat, chain and undershirt
our theme is 1920's christmas

Groomsmen pay for their own. Bridesmaids pay for their dresses usually too.
If you have generous people offering, I would take them up on the offer to have them pay for it. Most times the groom's tux will be free if enough groomsmen rent from the same retailer.

Each person pays for his own tux, unless the groom is Donald Trump. However, if they go to rent them together, they can usually get a discount.

the groom pays for his tux or you or whoever is paying for the wedding and the groomsmen pay for their own tux just like the bridemaids pay for their own dress congrats

I believe it is the groom that pays for the rental but I am not sure. It maybe the groomsmen themselves.

"Traditionally" the groom would pay. But now a days the grooms men pay for their own.

The Groomsman and best man usually does. typically if you rent them all at the same place you get a "deal" example: rent 4 tux's get the grooms for free type of thing.

I've been to a lot of weddings. The groomsmen pay for their own.

The groom is suppose to offer to pay, but the best man, etc. aren't supposed to accept the offer.

That would be the people he chose to be in the wedding. That is what we did. I mean he could have said know if he wanted too lol.
