sry christian..all evidence in the bible points to that it was written by bronze age men in an attempt to influence people. Still, you have not answered the question but just shown how little you question what people shove down your throat.

How amazing that you should ask this question. Apparently He does care or you would not be asking people who can tell you about Him. The way to know God is to read the Bible. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the Gospels that means, the birth, life, death, and resurrection of His Son Jesus.

Jesus is the only way to God. He came to the earth because we are born with a sinful nature and therefore separated from God. Jesus never sinned. Therefore, He was sent by God to die in our place, because of our sins, as the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and repentance {turning away)for the sins that you have committed, makes you acceptable to God for salvation and eternal life. You can't do anything to earn this forgiveness not even religion. What Jesus did on the cross earns that forgiveness for you.because God loves you right now just as you are.

He has done His part to show you His love. It's all up to you now. Accept or reject. He has done His part.

Do you have an old photo, where the only person you remember is yourself.... but when you took the photo you knew the other people there? How come you forget everyone but yourself?

God is HOW you are able to recognize yourself, when you cannot physically SEE your own face.

God is HOW you are able to BE you, it is free will that allows YOU to decide what that means for you.

It is your EGO that creates the illusion that you are doing everything here by yourself..... when actually life is a collaboration between all of us and God.

God is God no matter what. It isn't separate from us, it is HOW we are.

Your body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you ARE.

I think I have a good answer for that. You see, God already gave you a freebie, eternal life. The deep secrets of Himself, you need to get intamite with him. Be great friends and God will transform you into love because God IS love not made out of love. After all, his Bible is a love letter isn't it? He's trying to protect us from evil and Satan and stuff. But, we won't listen and we sin anyway. It is possible to be perfect, but it's hard work too. Fighting spiritual warfares and stuff. Back to the point, when you become love you won't get hurt and you'll become faithful to God and you won't doubt Him in delivering you at all. It takes some faith too.

God cares about us so much that he sent his only son Jesus Christ as a final sacrifice on the cross, for us so that we would not be seperated from him, anyone that sees God dies in an instant, so is that really what you want, the light of God is so bright and illuminous it kills you, says so many times in the Bible.
God sent Jesus and many prophesies who gave thier lives so that we might know when these prophesies come true, as in Israel becoming a nation.
God sent the desciples and apostles, the witnesses to write the written word, we have NO EXCUSE for not believing in and following God, many have died, given thier lives on earth, so that we might know the TRUTH, don't waste your time on looking for reasons not to LOVE God when God loves you so much to do everything for US, AND YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT, this world is run by satan, that is when it means satan will rule, this world is not of God, The Holy Kingdom is, and when we accept Jesus Christ into our lives we are Of God, and will go on to our eternal lives in THe Holy kingdom.
I used to not listen either, I drank and was an alcoholic for 16 years and lost every thing feeling I had no purpose, until one day I accepted the Lord into my life, and from that day on I have had no inclination to go back, to my old self, because Jesus Christ takes all that wanting for sin away, and I am so much happier now, I have people who I love back in my life, and most of all understand I am not walking through this world alone, up against a force I could never beat without Christ. And that is satan and all his tricks.

When Jesus was asked by the apostles to see the Father God, he said, when you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Also, the bible says that even those whose would see God, still wouldn't necessarily obey him or love him. That is what faith is all about. And if he didn't care about you, he would not have let his Son die such a horrendous death on the cross (that is how serious sin is) as payment for you to go to heaven.

Are you sure that the 'untainted, rational' evidence is any less tainted than any other information?

People find what they're looking for. Is it possible that you've been looking for reasons to believe he doesn't exist?

If the Bible doesn't do it for you then why ask religious questions? Today I was feeling pretty down about the situations in my life.(I felt God was not in control of my life anymore) My husband took me to dinner. I always enjoy Taco Bell. So he told me he would take me there. When we drove up, the place was packed so we decided to go somewhere else. We drove to the next place down the street that looked promising. There were no tables in the no smoking section, so we chose to sit at the bar. A man came in just after we had ordered. He took the seat next to me. I could tell by his clothes and the fact that he was clutching a fistful of nickels that he was homelss. The waitress gave him water and called him by name. Then she "bought" him a cup of coffee. I called her to the side and asked if she might put half of my order on a seperate plate and give it to the man. When the order came up instead of the two biscuits, eggs, fries, and 2 pcs of bacon there were three buiscuits, four pcs of bacon, and enough food on both plates to feed us both. I was earlier asking if God was still in charge of my life. And HE led us to "CHOSE" to go somewhere else to eat. HE led us to "CHOSE" to sit at the bar. And HE led someone in need of my help to me at the very moment that I could give it. The waitress only charged my husband and I for the plates that we originally ordered. Me and a homeless guy ate for $4.97 plus tax. God is still at work my friend; in my life as well as in yours. Believe it or not!

Sorry - the deal was that we were to come here and except God on faith and see if given the agency to do so we would chose good over evil. If we had sure proof what's the challenge in that?

Of course He cares enough to show Himself to you - irregardless of the fact that you've obviously ignored the abundance of evidence that He exists. Do you care enough about your soul to pay attention to what He's trying to show you?
