as much as I'd like to blame the idiot, I have to say no. I mean, did you see the look on his face as he kept on reading to those school kids for another what? Either 11 or 18 minutes after he was told about the attacks? He was too dumbfounded and it was too genuine.

BUT, he did take advantage of it to do what he & Cheney were already planning, which was to invade Iraq...which is an impeachable offense if you know the constitution at all.

On inauguration day Jan. of 2001 both he & Cheney were sitting in the oval office looking at the plans they ALREADY HAD DRAWN UP for their planned attack on Iraq. He had our forces moving into that general vicinity LONG before 9-11-2001.

I still don't know why it is that I knew as fact that he was lying about, well, everything....specifically 1 letter that he KNEW was not a true document at all stating that Hussein was attempting to purchase uranium rich soil from...geez, I just spaced the name of this African nation...!!!-duh me!!! but the document that he decided to include in his state of the union address as well as all of the other lies he told....I knew that he was lying about all of it, I knew because I read a lot. And I don't know what it is that I was reading but it was definitely a regular news publication and I also knew that Hussein did NOT trust Bin Laden & that Al Quaida was NEVER in Iraq, Bin Laden was NEVER in Iraq, Hussein was NOT pursing nuclear weapons, nor did he have WMD or chemical weapons!!! I knew all of these things yet even the regular news reporters not very long ago were stating that they didn't know any of this? There was also not long ago on 60 Minutes all of the information disavowing Bush's statements and although it wasn't a repeat so I'd never before seen it, I KNEW exactly what this particular 60 Minutes was about & what they were going to report. And sure enough, I did.

So if I, a common US citizen knew all this, why is it that the journalists at least STATE they didn't know? And why is it that there's STILL almost 1/2 of this country who believe there's still WMP in Iraq? And that Hussein and NOT Bin Laden was responsible for the attacks? Because Bush's propaganda machine works far too well, with Karl Rove being the person responsible for everything Bush says & does!!! Of course this survery (from CNN) also states that those less educated (dumber might be another word???!!!) are the ones who still believe all that crap! Or oddly enough, those with only a High School education, which I think should at least be enough....I guess that's how much things have changed since I went to High School and now......schools are passing anybody, aren't they?!!!

And naturally, strictly my opinion (about Bush being behind the attacks, the rest of what I've typed isn't opinion but statements of fact.) so naturally I COULD be wrong....!!!!

It would be too difficult to plan for the US Government. They have too many disgruntled leakers to worry about they wouldn't even get past first base. No the job was done by a group of total nonetities who got awat with it because no-one conceived of the liklihood of it being acheivable, except Tom Clancy, The FGB and several people in the US Intelligence services. But only the former perdicted such an occurence, (Plane as missile, the others only knew something about terrorists and planes in the US. I think it is possible that the twin towers were deliberatly collapsed to prevent the spread of the damage. not likely but possible. The fall was too clean

I don't believe it was carried out by the us govt and george bush, BUT I do believe that they knew about it before hand and didn't do anything to stop it.

Nope. I have worked in the GOVT for MANY MANY years and we are not that organized and we all have big mouths so there can never be a conspiracy without the whole world knowing every detail. Ask any GOVT employee to corroborate this.

I do not like George W. at all or any of his puppetmasters and I don't trust him and I think he has done some unacceptable things as president...but I do not think the US government had anything to do with 9/11.

No. That's ridiculous. The government may not care much about you - but they're not out to get anyone. 9/11 was carried out by a bunch of Saudi Arabians. Period.
