MP3 or Ipod, laptop, some kind of handheld travel game or something, or a book. But it really depends on how long your flight is.

You can use MP3's,PDA's,Laptop and Electronics 1 hour into the flight but 1 hour before you land you have to turn off all electronic devices.
Also ask the Air Hostess.

Depends where you are going, there are more restrictions if flying into the US but you can take electronic items into the cabin so your mp3 player will be fine as are laptops.

You can take anything but liquid. Liquid doesn't just mean water, it also includes things like hand cream, liquid make up items, deodorant etc. The size of the bag you can take on board is also restricted, check with your airline.

When I flew home from Africa two weeks ago, you could use electronic stuff but had to ask permission before you did.

ANYTHING YOU WANT!! I am not joking. As long as it can fit in your seat and underneath it, it's ok.
