it depends on who its coming from. If it's coming from your ex it means he wants to break up with you or take a break. IF it's coming from a crush, it means he's not interested in you in that way.

He is ready to move on. Let me ask you this. Has he started to be a jerk, or being mean, or acting totally different than from the time he first met you? He doesn't want to be in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship he just wants a friendship nothing more. He now has an idea of what he is looking for in a relationship or a woman. That is what that means. So the best thing for you to do is move on and date someone else. But first try taking a few months off from dating. Get yourself straightend out and look for someone that has the qualities that you are looking for or interested in.
