Ignore him...when he gets no reaction he'll move on and go be pathetic some place else. Anyone who resorts to name calling just shows they don't have the intelligence to say anything worth hearing.

he is being an immature a$$hole. He is not worth your time or her tears nad barely worth you girls time to type the question here. If he is being like this there is no use to her ever trying to get back with him for in the future like married or whatever they'd end up doing he'll be abusive and controlling. The names are degrade her and make fun of her and make her lower than he is in his eyes. It makes him feel better.

Kinda both. He just doesnt know how to handle your friends rejection in a mature way. But the more she lets it bother her, the more he will do it. Tell her the next time he says anything bad to her for her to give him a smile and walk away. If she gets upset by his comments, he has succeeded.

try to just ignore him. if he knows he is getting under her skin, it will continue. if she doesn't let on that it bothers her, he will probably quit doing it real soon.
