Be flirty, be funny, and dont be desperate. Talk to him and get to know him. Focus on your similarities and have fun with him. If he is good, he will come around, just be pacient.

I think you should just keep cool and get to know him, I wouldn't stress about it that will only make things worse. Only time can tell, I know that is not something you want to hear at this time but it's going to save a lot of heart ache at the end.
