Ok, so I might admit I need him in my life. I just can't be his gf and the feeling is mutual. But we love each other! I mean, how else do you describe laying in each others arms and sharing good sex and laughs together. It's almost like the best friendship ever without the jealousy. I asked him today to call me in 10 years so we could get married to each other and he goes "10 years? That's a really long time...." I don't know what to think. We def like each other, I just know we can't be together right now. I do however feel he's the one that clicks with my heart. Can anyone agree or compare with this to experiences? Does it sound like we're meant for each other? I'm trying to decode this relationship. No rude or comments that lack seriousness. Thanks!

ok so i'm not with him because he wanted me to give too much and he's not with me because he wants to see what else is out there, I think i'm the one that's winning in this case because i'm not giving too much of myself, yet he hasn't found anyone else. he comes around quite often for an ex. plus im the one waiting for him! he needs ot grow so much as a person still (and me a little too) but he has a lot of issues to work through that i wish i could help him with, but they are things he needs to do alone.

You feel comfortable together and there is nothing wrong with that. Get together when you can and live your own life the rest of the time. Enjoy what you have, it's hard to find. Just remember, that one day he might meet someone eles who is willing to commit. If you can live with that, then continue doing what you're doing. If not, then you might want to consider giving him a committment at some point down the line. At least you know that you're not ready for a relationship right now. You sound very mature to me.

i'm going through a similar situation right now. I beleive that you two definitely have strong feelings for eachother. I think you two should give it a shot, but there is always that chance of a breakup which screws up chemistry. I say do what your instincts tell you to do.

Whos the jealous one? Was there no trust? You dont say. But if there was a lack of trust and you are still sleeping with him, it sounds like hes got the best of both worlds.

I HAVE A GUY FRIEND, 26 YEARS, WE ARE NOT A COUPLE, BUT PEOPLE THINK WE ARE, WE SLEEP TOGETHER SOMETIMES, I STAY AT HIS HOUSE OFTEN, WE GO OUT TOGETHER, AND EVERYNOW AND AGAIN, WE GET HOT AND HAVE SEX, MAYBE TWICE A YEAR, NO STRINGS. HE TOLD ME I WAS HIS LIFE PARTNER, COOL. THERE WERE TIMES WHEN WE HAD OTHER RELATIONSHIPS, BUT WE ALWAYS MANAGE TO GET BACK TO EACH OTHER, REGARDLESS,,,, 26 YEARS, I LOVE HIM, 4 EVER, AND HE LOVES ME, 4 EVER, BUT WE ARE JUST FRIENDS

No one will wait 10 years for you. If he is the one then you need to keep him. If you're not ready then see if you can keep the status quo and decide later. If not then better to move on.
