Someone suggested BS in psychiatry...there is no such thing as psychiatry requires a medical degree. Any jobs requiring a BS/BA in the psychology field pays very little. To get a psychology/sociology type degree that is marketable, you will need Master's in Social Work with licensure. You can specialize in mental health and disabilties. Depending on the state you are in, there might be a clinical psychology degree at a master's level which could allow you to work as a therapist. Check state regulations as they differ. Physical and occupational therapists make more money and are in demand with the growing elderly population. But you may have to start pretty much from scratch. If you like working with people, RN's are very much in demand, make good money and that is a two-year degree.

A BA degree in Special Education. I think in order to get a more specific work related degree you would have to go to Graduate School.

i think of you may get your bachelor degree in a concern that hobbies you. in case you do something it fairly is uninteresting and of little interest then you extremely'll change off and function much less probability of gaining the mandatory skills. having reported that, in case you may carry out a little regulation matters for the style of librarian you like to be, then why not commence a BBus and do the middle matters (inclusive of an intro to regulation class) and notice what takes your fancy. in case you commence one degree and alter your thoughts then maximum unis are open to that, so do not tension approximately it lots. Get into something you like and bypass from there. all of the main suitable consisting of your study.

I would go for clinical psychologist: CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY: Clinical psychologists assess and treat people with psychological problems. They may act as therapists for people experiencing normal psychological crises (e.g., grief) or for individuals suffering from chronic psychiatric disorders. Some clinical psychologists are generalists who work with a wide variety of populations, while others work with specific groups like children, the elderly, or those with specific disorders (e.g., schizophrenia). They are trained in universities or professional schools of psychology. They may be found working in academic settings, hospitals, community health centers, or private practice.

See whether you can get one made to fit your requirements, some English universities will do that for you. If you are looking for something to hang on your wall, I believe you can write off to some non-existent American university and they will send the perforated do it yourself University of Elm Street version signed by their principal Mr Freddy Kruger BooH! (alright the second one is a send -up so you expect me to be all serious?)
