My wisdom teeth started growing in June and now I'm up to my third one. My problem is, none of them have come out fully, and more than half of it is covered by my gum. I can feel the tooth far below, but it doesn't seem that it's going to come out anytime soon?
Should this cause any concern?

If you have room for them to grow in fully then they should not cause a problem but if they stay half under, they can create a food trap which can cause bad breath and is easily infected. Talk to your dentist about it.

My wisdom teeth hadn't even poked through the gums yet when I had them taken out. I was put under with anesthesia and don't remember a thing. Talk to your dentist. If he thinks your wisdom teeth will cause problems when they come through then he may advise you to have them taken out. But don't worry, it was a piece of cake. I was back to eating normally in about a week. Good luck.

I have two wisdom teeth (half grown) for about 3-4 years now....its no big deal-- my dentist says they are not causing a space problem so far but if they come out completely, they might need to be pulled out.

I wouldn't be too concerned, although you should tell your dentist about it.. If you have to have them out, it's not that terrible, I had mine out before they came in... I had 5 wisdom teeth (yes I had 5 instead of 4), another extra tooth, and a sisk all removed at the same time, and it wasn't fun, but it wasn't that bad either...

It's really not a big deal, seriously. Also, more than likely the surgeon will want to put you out, because they just don't like to deal with the reactions after hearing noises all you feel is pressure. You have options, getting put out or not.

Better to get them out early before there roots get deep.
I had it done with no problems and they knocked me out for it. There was just a little tenderness and my gums were a little swollen for about a week.
Get it done its worth it!

Yes you should be concerned. It sounds like you are going to have to have them cut out. Believe me that is no fun. You are awake for the whole process.
