That doesn't call for using a soup mix, I have the beef, sour cream, egg noodles and mushrooms - what else?

~*~BEEF STROGANOFF SUPREME

* 1 1/2 to 2 pounds top sirloin roast, trimmed
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
* 1 cup beef bouillon or broth
* 1 medium onion, quartered and sliced
* 3 tablespoons sour cream, room temperature

Cut beef into narrow 2-inch long strips about 1/2-inch thick. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium saucepan. Blend in flour; gradually stir in beef broth, stirring and cooking until thickened and smooth.

Heat remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat; quickly brown meat strips and onion on all sides. Add meat and onions to beef sauce. Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes; stir in sour cream and heat through but do not boil. Serve over buttered noodles or rice. Serves 4.

Easy Beef Stroganoff

INGREDIENTS:
•6 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
•1 onion, chopped
•1/4 cup butter
•2 pounds lean ground beef
•4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
•1 teaspoon salt
•2 cups beef broth
•1 cup sour cream
•1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked and drained

DIRECTIONS:
1.Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook egg noodles in boiling water until done, about 8 minutes. Drain.
2.Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. In a large skillet, cook mushrooms and onions in 2 tablespoons of butter until soft; remove from pan.
3.Using the same pan, melt remaining butter. Cook ground beef in melted butter until browned. Mix in flour. Stir in beef broth, and cook all until slightly thickened. Stir in mushrooms and onion mixture and sour cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Continue cooking until sauce is hot, but not boiling. Serve sauce over egg noodles.

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU GOT IT ALL-BUT I DO ADD A COUPLE OF PACKAGES OF BROWN GRAVY MIX AND 3 CUPS OF WATER AFTER THE BEEF IS COOKED! THEN I ADD THE MUSHROOMS AND NOODLES AND ADD THESOUR CREAM LAST!

garlic-either powder fresh,or salt---some reg salt 1/2 stick of butter and a teaspoon of black pepper-add to what you have--you could add a bit of chopped onion too
