Fundamentalism although a good theory, tends to be extreme; and extremism in any form is very bad for most people involved. If we stop reasoning and just go on rote...or worse, let someone else, think for us...we're in deep danger of losing ourselves to something that should have been uplifting rather than now a stern life-defining trap. Blessings.

Only if they really live up to the correct interpretation of the Gospel of Christ.

Jesus said: "Love your enemy, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.

He also mentioned the two "first and foremost commandments" which, He said, are the basis of THE LAW. Any other laws or interpretations of laws that don't align with those two basic laws are invalid
How many "fundamental Christians" follow that? Does Bush?

It may be good for them--gives them something to think about other than that their religion is so illogical. G-d come to earth in human form? Never!

But, for the rest of us------------it so horrible! They want the whole world to think as they do.
