Turkey!
It is cheap, fun, beautiful. The people there are very nice. Lots of history and monuments from the beginning of time. Has ancient Greek cities, It has the caves where the first Christians made their churches. Has great Sultan palaces. Beautiful beaches. And Istanbul is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world where you can have great night life. I love that country
I've visited many countries and Turkey is definitely my favorite.

Canada can not be beaten for the sheer majesty of our beautiful outdoors! The people are friendly and we have some pretty amazing places to visit.

The United State Of America is full of unique and wonderful things to do and see. I had the pleasure of travelling a few of the states. It really is beautiful. And think of cities like Charleston, New Orleans, Washington....the history and architecture.

If you want history.....you can't beat Europe! Ireland is a beautiful country with the most friendly people I've ever met. England with it's castles and history! France, art, elegance and history (not to keen on the people in Paris tho) Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain,,,,history, architecture, food People.......amazing!

Too many places......but trust me, everywhere has it's charm and beauty!

Bon Voyage! (Oh and keep an open mind when you get there. Try new things and make sure you go drinking where the locals hang out!)

Well, in my humble opinion, although I am a patriotic Canadian and recognize the great beauty of much of the United States of America, I would answer England.

Although I've not travelled many places in the world, therefore my answer is somewhat uninformed, the country that really touched my heart was the land of my parents' and eldest sister's birth.

There were a lot of things and people that influence(d) me in my choice. I visited twice while I was only a child. My most memorable experience of my second visit was a stormy day in Blackpool, the waves crashing over onto the boardwalk.

My last visit, in 1995, was special in that I was invited to meet my penpal of ten years + and to attend her wedding. I stayed with my godmother, met my German penpal in her homeland and really had the time of my life. It still rates as the best vacation ever.

The countryside of England may seem plain to others but to me it was gorgeous; the people often quite friendly and caring. It was my first solo planeflight, my first month long vacation, the best wedding I attended, the most stirring vacation I had.

I enjoyed the quaint buildings, the enormous castles, the streets, watching people drive on the other side of the road (compared to here).

I'd say America, but that is only because it is so huge. To be fair, you should compare America to Europe, in which case I'd go with Europe due to the history.
