I don't believe that the Catholic church is God's church. Why? Because it's teachings are not inline with the Bible, and they have leaders that have different names than the ones Jesus called in His church when he was here on the earth organizing his church. I also think that the Catholic church just took some of the main ideas from Christ's teaching and made their own religion, and it was the first one after he went back to heaven, so everyone jumped on the band wagon to be a part of it. All the Apostles died, Remember? That means that the truth and the power of God went with them. They never gave it to anybody else and couldn't start their own religion cuz they were already leaders in Christ's religion, which ended when they all were killed.
Honestly, now, go study the bible with a little more depth.

I have read and studied history and religion EXTENSIVELY. I know exactly where Christ's church was started and ended, etc. Catholicism is a bunch of ideas thrown together by desperate people who refused to believe that Christ's church fell into apostacy. They never recieved direction or authority from God to run his church or act in his name or with his power. That's a fact. Most people need to study more, I've done mine.

In the entire New Testament. When the Catholic Church gathered a group of its writings into a book at the end of the 4th century, and called that book the Bible for the first time, it obviously didn't put into its book anything that was in any way contrary to its own teaching. Therefore the contents of the New Testament, properly interpreted, IS precisely the teaching of the Holy Catholic Church. Nothing more, nothing less.

So in otherwords, you think that when Jesus told the Church He founded that He would be with it until the end of time, and that evil would never prevail against it, He was lying? Or maybe just mistaken? His Church was actually wiped out and that nasty old evil Catholic Church took over and was the only Church preaching Jesus Christ for the next 1500 years?? Read a little history for heaven's sake! You are living in a fantasy world.

Bible was written by men in the bronze age...there is no proof to support otherwise, but proof to support that that is the case...what your preist tells you is a biased opinion, a lot of the stuff that makes you believe in its truth is lies...go actually read the bible and you may have a different opinion about it...if you have ever so much as kindled a fire on sunday it condems u to death....

I have read the bible cover to cover, and if you have read it cover to cover and think anything in modern society should be based off it then you are no different than Hitler.

All Biblical religions pick and chose...

It's impossible to be a holistic believer in a book of contradictions.
