If anyone can help me here, I am having a problem identifying any decent info from some local websites.

I go camping a few times a year outside of Juniper Springs in the Ocala National Forest in Florida. I have never had any problems, but last year we were kicked out of our spot(unregulated campground which is more private and fun) for our safety by a ranger because it was hunting season. I am having difficulties finding out when exactly we shouldn't be camping for our safety's sake.

Any help would be awesome. Like I said, we go 2-4 times a year, always at different times(weather is cold enough) and have never run into this. We were a bit drunk this last time and didn't want to move, but the Ranger made sure we realized it was imperative and the next day when we were leaving the regulated campsite we were moved we saw many hunters near our spot and definitely could have been in danger of stray bullets.

Thank you
