My husband and I are looking for an affordable short term rental while we get ready to move. Hotels want like $2000 !!!
An efficency or 1 bdrm is ok, furnished is manditory. We need this ASAP so if someone could give any suggestions.....that'd be great!!!!

I'd try craigs list. MD/DC is super expensive. Typical apartments go for $1400-$2000 easy. It's not easy to find, I wish you luck!

A one-month rental for less than $2000? In the MD/DC area? Not too likely for a furnished place. Try looking in the classified section of the Washington Post under Furnished Rooms for Rent and you just may find something. You can also try looking in the classified section of The City Paper. Once again, not too likely but possible.
You will have to pay by cash no matter where you rent and also have to leave a security deposit.
