we as muslims accept and believe christianity as a religion sent by God. the difference is islam replaced it. islam replaced it because its teachings include the teachings of christianity. I do not like to discuss about it. I just want to learn the christian perspective to islam as a religion.

Christians do not see Muhammad as a prophet. Christians do not accept it as a religion sent by God.

As a Christian(note, the word Christian and religion are not in the Bible). True believer is the term used for those who follow Jesus Christ and believe he is the Son of God, and also part of the Godhead or the Holy Trinity. Jesus said that "I am the way, the truth, and the light, nobody comes to the Father, but by Me."

Islam and Christianity are very different though. Allah is not the same as Yahweh. Two different.

Christians are to follow Jesus and his teachings, which is the absolute truth to us. Anything else, other religions is referred to as idoltary in the Bible.

I am stating how it is. God wrote it, not man, therefore that is how it goes.

Muslims and Christians serve two different masters

If you believe Christianity, then you believe what Jesus said...that only Jesus is the way, the truth and the Life and that no one comes to God except through Jesus.

If you do not believe that, then you are a liar regarding believing Christianity.

I believe that Islam is a movement of some of the most devoted and godly people in the world who have all been deceived by the most evil of all false gods.

2 Corinthians 11:3
But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

Titus 3:3
At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.

Tell the truth: how could anyone hate others more than Islam hates Christians and Jews?

But the scripture you just claimed came from God says:

1 John 4:20
If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

Therefore Islam has exposed its own false God.

I do not hate the Muslim, I admire so great a devotion, and I grieve how it is placed in the deceiver who pretends to be God, instead of the True God.

Do not be too proud to confess that you could be wrong, we are all brothers, kindred and any could be wrong. Look at the actions of Islam and tell me...could this be the Way of Truth and Life?

May every Muslim find the True God and turn whole-heartedly away from the Deceiver.

No! No! No! Christians are followers of Jesus Christ. They are the Church = Called out ones = Ecclesia = Assembly of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the Head of the Church. No, we do not see Muhammad as a prophet because he never prophesied anything concerning the Body of Christ and No, Islam hasn't taken the place of Christianity, because the Church, is alive today as never before in the history of mankind. You of all people should know this. Hence the reason for Muslims trying to kill any other religion besides themselves. Love, be bless

I took non-Christian religions in high school, and we learned what Islam is about, along with Buddhism, Hindu, etc. While there are some similarities, any religion that doesn't view Jesus as the only way to be saved is a false religion.

Do Jews accept Jesus as prophet no and this is how it goes with Christians no and anything the Christians say about Muhammad the Jews say worse things about Jesus.
mortgageg. yes he was In Deuteronomy 18, Moses stated that God told him: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19).1

From these verses we conclude that the prophet in this prophecy must have the following three characteristics:

1) That he will be like Moses.

2) That he will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites.

3) That God will put His words in to the mouth of this prophet and that he will declare what God commands him.

I know Hagar's son was promised great blessings from God, and I believe that was probably the root of the Islamic religion.

But that's about as far as I go.

No we do not see him as a prophet sent of God. He is not mentioned in our holy scriptures. He may well be a prophet and if so peace be upon him but we as Christians will not recognize him until God does.

You think that Islam replaced Christianity and fixed it's errors. You insist that the Quran has no errors and so will never need to be replaced.

We think that Chirst's dying on the cross and being resurrected was all that was needed for people to have salvation. There is no need to replace anything. There is no need to add anything. We already have all we need to be saved. What is the need for Muhammed and his book?

Bless you
