While I don't mean to tar everyone with the same brush and I'm sure there are people in happy relationship...

I agree, forget him and move on. Turkish men like european women because their religion doesn't allow them to have sex with a muslim partner until they are married.

The other reason as others have said, they need a passport out of their country.

Of course there's the issue of whether he just wants to marry a Brit and come to Britain, but there are also genuine romances (and sometimes marriages) between people who meet on holiday. Maybe one way to find out is to suggest that when you get married you'll go and live with him in Turkey rather than him coming to UK. If he doesn't like that idea, or he makes excuses maybe it's just the passport he wants.

Baby doll these turkish lads have got all the charm they know exactly which buttons to press with females, and yes who wouldnt be flattered, but chances are he's wanting to leave his country, have you asked him where are you going to live if you get married, what job does he have ?Turkish culture is also very differnet from yours and his veiws on family life will certainly be differnet from yours once that ring is on your finger, just ease off a bit but dont please do anything silly by marrying him.

Let me get this straight...based on getting to know someone for a WHOLE WEEK, you are considering the rest of your life with him???
Assuming you're 20, and live to be 80, that's 3120 more weeks, based on this one Turkish holiday. Seems a little out of balance to me.
I'd give it more time, before you start moving so hot heavy & fast (let me guess...you are still pretty young; 14 maybe?)--or else people will be calling YOU the "Turkey!"

I don't want to sound rude or horrible by telling you this...

I know Turkish men are quite famous about this. They ask European girls to marry (in particular British Girls). They want to come to the UK and work legally... In some cases they dump the girls!!!

Be careful!! Love doesn't born in a week or two!!

Too many girls have married Turkish men and spent years regretting it. Get away while you can. They have a different view to life than western people.
Wives are 2nd rate citizens. You have been warned.
They're smoothies in the chase and treat their wives like peasants.

Let me guess.... Your about sixteen at most and he was a waiter about 23-25ish. The fact that he 'loves' you and wants to 'marry' you after a WEEK should tell you something.. Make him wait and have an honourable courtship to see if his love is true. And just be careful espiecally if you are young

Only you can answer that. Many people get married after a very short dating spell.

Some last for a long time and some are over just as quickly as they started.
