....yet it seems like eveything on the internet "published" appears to be a load of ****. I was just interested in the subject because it seemed very abstract and random, and when I started lookign around on the internet it seems that all the information on the internet is written by crazy people who are trying to blame there faults and insecurities on something that isn't real. Yet they embrace the concept so readily, so that they can feel superior to others, and feel as if that is the reason for their non-belonging to society, and loneliness.

Kind of dissapointing, sounded like a cool concept, only to find out its full of wackos like all other religions.

LOL should of known, let play chi ball catch , lol, WTF....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigo_children

"The Indigo Child concept was first publicized by the book The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived, written by the husband-and-wife team of Lee Carroll and Jan Tober [1]. Carroll insists that the concept was obtained via conversations with a spiritual entity known as Kryon."

No, I can't. However, I was fed a similar line by Protestant sources. I suspect that it's a conspiracy to guilt-trip children into behaving in a socially acceptable way. It also comes in handy when one-upping one's siblings: "How can you be so mean to me when you know God sees you?" Then I grew up and put aside childish ways. I see God in a completely different way now, and it's nothing like the two-dimensional portrait provided to us as children. If I *had* to believe the original version or become atheist, I'd be an atheist right this minute. However, there is a different way of looking at the essence of God (as connecting all of the spirit of the Universe is the brief form), so I don't have a problem with understanding God in a much different way. Perhaps this take on your equation will help: Loving, omnipotent, omniscient God that created all things for a purpose + free will for all things to appreciate what God created and maintain that creation in a manner which glorifies God's "kingdom"--or not = mistakes made and God's kingdom sullied with a lot of weirdness and pollution, with lots of opportunities yet to "do the right thing" and treat each other and everything that dwells therein the way we aught to be treated. Good luck to you in working through your own questions on your own spiritual journey.

The theory is that the human race has undergone a phase in spiritual evolution and children are being born that are very tuned into psychic energies. They are called indigo children because their third eye chakrah, which emits indigo into the chakric aura, is extremely powerul.

I heard that!

Anyways, there really are Indigo children and they really do have a special purpose. I don't pay attention to the crazies, for the very same reasons that you mentioned above.

I'm sorry I don't have a better source of information to point you to.

I am an indigo. Go to your new age section of your local bookstore. They are bound to have at least one book on the topic. Indigos are not better. Just different.
