If you are asking should we fear the Lord then I say yes. He sould be respected and feared with the same fear your parents should have instilled in you to honour their dictates. But you must also know that God loved you enough to send His only begotten son to bear the sins of the world upon His shoulders that we might be saved and spared the wrath of God.

Fear of what?
Fear of breaking your arm for the third time doing something?
Look at how many baseball players wear armor on their arms.
Fear of getting hit yes, will they get hit? who knows smart to protect yes.
Fear of dark closets who knows why. Its a unknown.
Fear of dentist you know its going to hurt and cost alot.
Interpretation yes. based on most of the facts on hand or lack of facts.
Fear gets us to avoid harm.
And it feels great when we step up to our fears, do we take the pain or see the sharp rocks hidden in the dark. explore past your fear. You still my be afraid but you know you can deal with it.
