I'm doing a science project and i heard about this Thyroxin stuff, and i know you can buy it in pills, what are the pills supposed to do? Is that the stuff that they put in beef?

Thyroxine is given to people with an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism). Treatment with this drug is normally long term/for life as it is replacing the hormone that the body isn't producing. It is taken as a daily dose and the strength of the tablet depends on the patient, everyone is started on a low dose and this is slowly increased over time until the correct level is achieved.

I pretty sure its isn't the stuff they put in beer.

this is thyroid hormone replacement for those who have thyroid gland functioning at low capacity. nothing to do with beer, good luck
