Liking someone is like you like the way he/she may appears or look. You maybe like the way he/she act or stuff.
Loving someone is like you have feeling for that person. If he/she gets hurt you care about it.

That's very good question, especially in todays society. I know you have probably been told before but you will know the difference when you find that one person thats special. When you think you have found that person, give the relationship some time to flourish and grow and then you will most certainly be sure. Trust me you will know when it happens. Unfortunately it doen't happen for everyone because they jump into a relationship too quick and too hard they know their own true feelings.

liking someone comes first, love come after liking someone a long time.
When I first met my wife I didn't really like her. After a while I started liking her. 3 years later we got married, this past June we celebrated our 33 anniversary.
I can honestly say I love her,but can't tell you when the liking part turned to love. Hope this makes sense to you because I still don't understand it. I was a confirmed bachelor.

When you like someone, there are certain qualities that draw them closer to you, when you love some one you will love thier good and bad qualities, you will love them when they are up or down. The sad thing is human beings cant provide that kind of love for you. Only GOD can love you right.

If you love someone, you would sacrifice yourself for that person. There is also so many different kinds of love. But, if you truly love someone, you would do what it takes to keep them safe and happy.

When you like someone you have enough knowledge of that person and the person has a likeable quality you like about them. When you love someone you have spent time with that person and have talked with that person you know every thing you need to know about that person you trust know that its okay to open up to this person. IMO liking someone is the beginning which could eventually change to Loving someone.

no matter what they do to you you always keeep going back withtem and you can forgive them no matter what and they always know how to cheer you up and you cant live without them liking someone is just a feeling that doesnt last forever love does

Loving--want to be with them all the time worry about them, die for them, do anything for them.
Liking--like a really good friend without sexual chemistery.
