Apply to your local council, or get in touch wiv your local councillor, housing usually works on a point system, the more points the quicker you will get housed, if you are working maybe you could apply for a home ownership scheme, part buy part rent, also get in touch with housing associations they are pretty good, but get in touch with your local councillor, ask council offices who that is, they should come and see you and help with advice and what steps to take. We asked our local councillor and he had us moved within ten days!! Good luck

Can anyone translate this question for me? I got: council flat and 2 to 3 years, but the rest just missed me.
IF IT IS A COUNCIL FLAT THAT YOU WANT, TELL THEM THAT ENGLISH IS NOT YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE AND EVERYONE WILL HELP.

If you are living with your parents, tell the council that they are throwing you out (make sure they are in on it though, to avoid any embarassment if the council contact them).
