But really... non-christians have a problem with believing in Jesus' return for the same reason Christians have a problem with Athiests. Most people have issue with people that believe differently than they do. Since the beginning of time people who truly believe they are "right" have railed against "non-believers". This is something that will never change. So my advice to you is this:
Get an education, become tolerant, and learn to deal with it.
