I don't feel healthy bc I dont drink the proper amount of water during the day. I am starting to drink a lot of milk, but never really used to drink milk. What should I do to still drink water?

Same thing happened to me... have your exercise patterns changed? I use to exercise constantly so I would always need/ crave for water, after I kinda stopped exercising shortly after I didn't have the taste for water at all I switched to milk and juices. Now that im back moving again all I ever drink is water and nothing else.
Just slowly start back to drinking water again get some of those natural fruit flavored watered drinks that have no calories/sodium or carbs and mix a little of that with a big glass of plain water or just add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to your water until you can drink it alone.
Milk is good for you it has a lot of vitamins and calcium the body needs but if your drinking full fat milk or even 2% be careful because it does have fat, it's best to drink fat free/skim milk (or 1% if you must) and you can drink and 8 oz cup of that with every meal.

Milk is good for you but too much milk is not especially if you are drinking whole milk which is low in calcium and high in fat. Skim or low fat milk has more calcium. As far as drinking more water... They say you should drink at least 64oz of water a day so I bought a 64oz jug and filled it with ice water when I went to work and sipped on that all day. I also tend to drink more water if I have bottled water in the frig.. easier to grab a bottle than to pour a glass of milk or soda. Hope those ideas work for you.

Just as it is difficult to break a habit going "cold turkey," the reverse is also true; it is difficult to start a habit going, well, hot turkey I guess...but it is always hard to start a habit. To start drinking water, try a glass a day, or a bottle of water a day. You can start trying water at fast-food or out-to-eat days while drinking coke/tea/juice/milk at your other meals to quench your craving. You can build up a habit if you introduce your body to it -gradually-. Another thing that would help you to like water: drink purified water or get a purifier for your sink faucet. Tap water tastes rather bland compared to the freshness of purified water. Lukewarm purified water tastes better than lukewarm tap water.I hope you can start a habit of drinking water. I quote an Aquafina commercial: "Make your body happy!"

Put some water in a bottle and keep it handy. Try to drink at least one bottle a day. Cranberry juice helps flush out the kidneys. I drink a cup of it for breakfast cause I lost a kidney and it was suggested to drink water and liquids (I don't drink beer or wines).

It's good that you've started drinking milk. We girls need our calcium, just like kids do.

But as for your question, what helps me is to keep bottles of water in the fridge, cold and convenient. When you get thirsty and go to the fridge, there it is staring right at you, ready to go. Just buy a twelve pack or case of water once, then clean and refill your bottles, or save 20 oz coke bottles or gatorade bottles or whatever. If you don't like your tap water, buy spring water by the gallon to refill your bottles (you'll save a bundle that way!) The key is that it is already there, cold, and ready when you go to the fridge.

It would seem that the obvious answer to "what should I do to still drink water?" is to drink water. If it's the taste that no longer appeals to you, put a little fruit juice in it and drink it very cold. Another suggestion is to buy frozen juice concentrates. These must be reconstituted with water.
