I am on my period, but my boyfriend for 3 years is coming to see me so we can go out. I don't get to see him often because of the distance so I want us to be "intimate". He has no problem doing it while I'm "on", but I would like to lessen the blood flow. Help!

If you start taking birth control pills, you can lessen the bleeding or avoid your periods altogether by skipping the colored pills in the pack or by continuing to take the pills instead of skippnig days.
Another way to do this is to use a diaphragm, which holds back the flow completely. You can do this for about five or six hours.
It is not necessary to resort to anal.

Well studies show that if a woman engages in sexual intercourse while she's on her cycle, the flow automatically lightens. Now im not sure because i hav never tried it (it just seems kinda unsanitaru to me) but hey let me kno if it works! I dont think there is any way of actually litening the flow without jst sticking sumthing up there and keeping it there. Which of course, wont work. So i think u mite just have to wish for better timing next time around or go for it and hope neither one of u gets too grossed out.

well i dont no if there really is anything to lesson it but i do no if you are sitting or laying then stand up it gets heavy. if you wear tampons i say where that until before your goin to do it. then you wont have all that blood in you.. thats the only thing i can think of.. hope it helps. and hope you have a good time!!
