My cat scratched my lower eyelid as deep as she possibly could without breaking through to the other side, and I need a way to clean it out that will disinfect the cut without hurting my eye.

It doesn't seem that serious. The eyeball wasn't scratched, at least to the best of my knowledge. I'd be in a lot of pain if it was, right?

Use clean water--or when you're in the showers, close your eyes and scrub your face (gently!) with a pouf (that's best) or washcloth, then hold your face under the spray until the soap washes off. Try not to use anything with fumes that could get into your eyes.

And teach that cat some manners!
