The problem with that statement is that within the books the messages are different..
Just 5 examples:
1. God is satisfied with his works - Gen 1:31
God is dissatisfied with his works. - Gen 6:6
2. God dwells in chosen temples - 2 Chron 7:12,16
God dwells not in temples - Acts 7:48
3. God dwells in light - Tim 6:16
God dwells in darkness - 1 Kings 8:12/ Ps 18:11/ Ps 97:2
4. God is seen and heard - Ex 33:23/ Ex 33:11/ Gen 3:9,10/ Gen 32:30/ Is 6:1/Ex 24:9-11
God is invisible and cannot be heard - John 1:18/ John 5:37/ Ex 33:20/ 1 Tim 6:16
5. God is tired and rests - Ex 31:17/ Jer 15:6
God is never tired and never rests - Is 40:28

As for the SAME message...sorry, but you are very wrong. First of all if there were a God presenting us all with the SAME message...do you really think he/she/it would allow that message to be changed by man to suit man's needs? This is an intelligent god we are speaking of right? This is an all loving and all caring god we are speaking of right?
It is rather stupid for a God with a message to allow that message to be changed into a message from man...and how totally uncaring is it for a god to allow some humans to recieve the message of God while others are stuck with the message of Man (God's message changed to suit man's needs)?
And of course, according to most christians, those poor suckers who get the "wrong" message are still punished by your all loving god...even though it is ENTIRELY your god's fault those people receive the "wrong" message.
You can keep your ONE god....I want nothing to do with god's that are obviously very stupid...and very uncaring.

Muslim's are meant to read the Christian Bible because Islam accepts it as a Holy Book (albeit flawed according to the Quran). If as a Muslim you had done so, you could not help but notice that the message is NOT the same as in the Quran.
The Quran is very clearly and very deliberately, Anti-Christian. It's message directly opposes the very foundations of Christianity and God's gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. It denies the one thing that can save you and set you free.

How do you know what god wants us to do? did he talk to you in a dream or did you draw it from the books that you stated 'have been changed by man to suit his needs.' I always thought if there is a god you could just ask him what he wanted...so i did. Of course silence followed so I guess you guys are right, god always does answer your prayers. He told me not to believe in him.

Sorry, you don't read much if you think this is so. The god of Islam is not the God of the bible. If Allah were the God of the bible, he would have a son, Jesus, who died on the cross, rose again, and is the only way to the Father. Islam denies that Allah has any son, Islam denies Jesus died on the cross, and Islam denies that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
All "messages" are not the same. Be very careful.

When we come to the brink of destruction through nuclear war and all that goes with that. When Jesus returns to teach us the ways of God during the Golden Age. Soon it will all be crystal clear. I am assuming from your statement you are a Muslim and that you have reached a healthy level of spiritual awareness.
Peace be with you.

There are 10,000 different religions in the world. They have the same god and message? Guess again. They mostly hate each other because of their differences.

Exactly! The language differs and the symbolism differs and the ideas were expressed according to the understanding of the listeners of that day. But the inner truth is one and the same. However, most people will find it hard to accept because we somehow need to think of faith as a contest or something. "How can THEY be right, if I am right?"

I beg to differ.
Allah is by no means NOT the same as the Christian God. Mohammad's claims and so-called prophecies are contrary to what Jesus Christ teaches. And thus, since Jesus is God incarnate, they cannot be the same entity. Allah is a false god created by Mohammad to suit his own agenda.
There is only one true living God, and His Name is Jesus, the Christ.
