Absolute bollocks. Your friend is too fat because she eats too much.
Go to an area of the world where famine is rife, and see how many fat people you see, discounting the effects of bloating by 'kwashiokor'. There won't be any.

I would be interested to know if these pills have been prescribed by a doctor for a genuine medical problem or whether she has bought them over the internet.
