Now I hear they have to inspect breast implants before one gets on the plane. The lighter thing was out of hand, and they've gone even farther.
Note that security issues aside, you are 500X more likely to go down in a plane due to mechanical failure than in a hijacking.

So, do you think the regs should be even stricter and people should undergo more scrutiny, do you like them as they are? Or would you prefer returning to pre-911 standards and take our chances?

if you actually believe that tsa has to inspect breast implants, you are very ignorant. tsa doesn't even know you have implants if you don't tell them

All of this is going to change quite soon according to the TSA. All passengers are going to be required to have a tiny microchip with all personal data on it to be surgically implanted before you will be allowed to fly. This is a one time procedure, supposed to be fairly painless, and will also be used to track movement of airline passengers when travelling by train, boat, or car.

I think they should do whatever is necessary to ensure safety on the planes. I think you should note that females would be inspecting the implants (if that's even true).

You have to remember that we have and insane kindergartner for president and they basically do what he tells them (not that they will admit to it)...TSA has gone way too far but it is for our safety...breast plants...that's just ludicrous, lighters, understandable, nail clippers, out there....just don't forget to NOT vote for Cheney or this will continue. We need to get rid of the Bush/Cheney regime and get a DEMOCRAT back into office...that is the only way that we will be able to save our own country, Bush has us so confused by what he has going on outside of the U.S. that we can't even see that we, as a country as a whole, are crumbling and falling to our knees and the only way out and back up is to get rid of the Republican White House

I think that there are certain limits to security. look in shoes, look in hair, look in pockets... but that seems way too far.
